Segway proposes two new eScooters

Segway announces the launch of two new electric scooter models in Europe this summer.

A “no license required” offer with the Segway E150S, equivalent to 50 cc (category L1e-B), and the Segway E250S, equivalent to 125 cc (category L3e-A1). These models aim to meet urban mobility needs with optimized performance, adjustable range, and advanced technological features.

Segway E150S

The Segway E150S is designed for urban use. Classified in the L1e-B category, it is limited to a speed of 45 km/h. It has a nominal power of 2.7 kW and a peak power of 3.6 kW. The standard range, with a 1998 Wh battery, reaches 60 km (WMTC cycle). Up to three batteries can be installed to extend the range to 180 km. Each 74 V/27 Ah battery charges in less than 2.5 hours. This model features a dual-channel ABS braking system and will be available in four colors, with matte or glossy finishes.

Segway E250S

The Segway E250S is designed for longer journeys and high performance. Classified in the L3e-A1 category, it reaches a maximum speed of 90 km/h. Its nominal power is 5 kW, with a peak power of 7.5 kW. In standard configuration, equipped with two 3996 Wh batteries, it offers a range of 110 km (WMTC cycle), extendable to 165 km with an additional battery. This model is available in two matte color options.

Both models are equipped with a 5-inch TFT dashboard displaying navigation, notifications, and driving data via a dedicated app. They include battery management systems (BMS) to optimize safety and longevity, as well as hydraulic disc brakes and Class D LED headlights.

The Segway E150S and E250S will be marketed in Europe starting at the end of the first half of 2025.
