Electric Scooter: Zeway Launches a Professional Offer

Zeway accelerates with a new offering that could interest couriers.

Zeway is expanding its electric scooter rental service. After focusing on the individual consumer channel, the French startup is now extending its offer to professionals.

The main innovation of Zeway’s service lies in the provision of a network of battery exchange stations. With these, users no longer have to wait hours to recharge their scooter. They simply swap their empty battery for a full one at one of the 41 stations located in Paris and nearby suburbs. All stations are geolocated on a Zeway app.

In addition, it is also possible to charge the battery normally by plugging it into an outlet. For this, an optional “dock” is offered.

Zeway aims to attract couriers

The professional offer gives a choice between two scooters: the swapperX (an equivalent of 50 cc) and the swapperX+ (a version equivalent to 125 cc capable of reaching 80 km/h). The scooters feature a support designed for large-capacity top cases (up to 200 liters). They are credited with a range of 60 km.

Zeway has implemented two plans: one specifically targeting couriers, and a “Regular Routes” plan aimed at other professionals who frequently travel for work (healthcare staff, salespeople, real estate agents, etc.). In both cases, the commitment period is 3 years.

The monthly cost varies depending on the chosen scooter and plan. For example, it is €175/month for a swapperX under the Delivery plan, or €175 for a swapperX+ with the “Regular Routes” plan. In addition to the aforementioned dock, priced at €170, Zeway also offers an optional windshield for €150.
