Study: Paris, the Capital of Car Sharing?

According to a study conducted by Confused.com, a UK-based insurance comparison platform, Paris significantly outperforms London in car-sharing.

In major global cities, a phenomenon has developed over many years. The one of car-sharing. Essentially, it involves using a self-service car for a few hours instead of investing in an expensive vehicle, which will mostly stay in the garage.

Paris scored 7.43/10. The French capital hosts six different car-sharing companies and also has the highest population density, with 20,506 people per km². The average cost for an hour of rental with these companies is €9.15, ranging from €1.95 for Communauto to €14.40 for Share Now.
