To demonstrate the viability of using liquid hydrogen in road transport, the company’s Mercedes-Benz GenH2 Truck prototype recently traveled 1,047 kilometers across Germany on a single fill of liquid hydrogen under real-world conditions. Daimler Truck is building a fleet of Mercedes-Benz GenH2 trucks for customers, with deployment planned for mid-2024.
The United Arab Emirates anticipates upcoming energy shifts and aims to become a leading and reliable producer and supplier of low-carbon hydrogen by 2031.
