Tesla Offers Shelter to the Roswell Extraterrestrial

Tesla has introduced a very special charging station in a place filled with mystery: Roswell.

Tesla has decided to set up shop and install its chargers in Roswell, New Mexico. And as nothing is ever ordinary with Elon Musk, this new Supercharger station will feature a unique shelter: a CyberCanopy. Think of it as a futuristic-geometric roof directly inspired by the Cybertruck, with a touch of UFO for good measure. Naturally, Roswell’s influence is evident.

This extraterrestrial architectural masterpiece will host eight charging stations, all neatly aligned under a glass canopy illuminated by an LED strip worthy of a Klingon vessel. Even better: the whole setup will be powered by a 20.88 kW mini-solar power plant, to harness the sun’s energy while recharging your vehicle. Who knows, passing flying saucers might be happy to refuel at Tesla in the near future. Meanwhile, the electricity generated by the solar plant can be used directly or fed back into the grid, in a gesture of “thank you, planet.”

On the technology side, say goodbye to the old V3 Superchargers; Roswell will host the very latest V4 generation. And since Roswell is never too extra, the CyberCanopy will also be fitted with multicolored RGB lighting. Yes, you’ll be able to recharge your car under artificial northern lights. Shrub, the manufacturer’s favorite hedgehog mascot, is likely to be present on the station’s roof to enjoy the view.

In short, Tesla isn’t just installing chargers anymore: they want people to stay, to enjoy… and maybe even meet a tech-loving alien. Roswell thus becomes the first step in a cosmic plan: to turn Superchargers into destinations where people stop for fun, not just to plug in according to Max de Zegher, Tesla’s chief recharger.
