The Tesla Model Y is now the best-selling electric vehicle in France, surpassing another Tesla, the Model 3. With its more affordable price compared to the latter and a more competitive rate, it has all the makings of a blockbuster. But what about its charging costs?

The Tesla Model Y has succeeded in its gamble by putting the compact SUV at the forefront of the American manufacturer’s offerings. Largely based on the Tesla Model 3, it is nevertheless longer by 6 cm (4.75 m long), wider (1.92 m), and notably taller (1.62 m). As we can see, the SUV architecture is far from having said its last word. For now, the Tesla Model Y is available in three versions: Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive (Top speed of 217 km/h, 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and 49,990 € before a 5,000 € bonus in 2023); Model Y Long Range (Top speed of 217 km/h, 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds and 64,990 €); Model Y Performance (Top speed of 250 km/h, 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and 69,990 €).
