550 Charging Points for Les Mousquetaires Stores in 2023

Customers equipped with electric vehicles will soon be able to recharge at stations operated by Izivia, a subsidiary of the EDF Group.

A few weeks after the announcements by the German giant LIDL, relayed by Mobiwisy, and the development of its charging stations, the French group Les Mousquetaires is responding by choosing Izivia to ensure the deployment and operation of charging stations in the parking lots of its many brands: Intermarché, Netto, Brico Cash, Bricorama, Bricomarché, Roady, and Rapid Pare-Brise.

As of the time of writing, 156 group stores have already subscribed to the offer to install at least two charging points with power ranging from 7 kW to 100 kW on their parking lots. Twenty stores are already equipped in 2022 (Capdenac-Gare, Réalmont, Agde (Occitania), Béon (Burgundy-Franche-Comté), Le Touvet, La Chapelle d’Abondance (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), in Nemours, Vulaines-Sur-Seine (Île-de-France), Marquette-Lez-Lille (Hauts-de-France), Langoiran, Sauveterre de Guyenne, Tarnos,
Mérignac, Tocane Saint Apre (New Aquitaine), Pleine Fougères, Pornic (Pays de la Loire), La Ville aux Dames, Saran (Centre-Val de Loire), and Jeuxey (Grand Est).

The goal is to reach 550 charging points in 2023 to allow customers to top up during their shopping trips. The Les Mousquetaires group estimates that for one hour of charging, users can regain up to 150 km of autonomy on stations with a power of 22 kW.

A Paid Service

Unfortunately, this service will be paid, with payments made via traditional subscription cards, online, or by credit card by scanning the QR code on the station using a mobile phone.

Good news, however: the stations are accessible 24/7, even when the stores are closed.
