Roissy and Orly: With Free2move, the hassle of getting to the airport is over

It is now possible to directly reach Roissy-CDG or Orly from Paris with Stellantis’ Free2move service.

In response to the rising costs of travel to Paris airports and the regular saturation of public transport as well as taxi and VTC services, Free2move is launching a solution that could appeal to many travelers. Since June 1st, the car-sharing specialist has indeed expanded its service area to Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports.

The principle is simple: users can pick up a self-service car in Paris and drop it off directly in the designated parking areas of the two airport platforms, or make the reverse journey upon their arrival. The entire journey is managed via the Free2move app, which allows users to locate, book, and unlock a vehicle in just a few minutes, 24/7.

An offer that finds its place

The appeal of the concept lies in its ability to provide an intermediate solution between public transport and individual transport services, which is much more economical than traditional car rentals. For travelers with luggage, early morning departures, or late returns, car-sharing allows for greater autonomy while avoiding the schedule constraints of the RER or the sometimes high costs of taxis and VTCs, especially during peak demand periods.

At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, vehicles are available in the PAB, P3, and PR parking lots. At Paris-Orly, they can be picked up or dropped off at the P3 and P4 parking lots, located immediately close to the terminals.

With this expansion, Free2move is also strengthening its European network, now connected to 14 major airports. This evolution is part of the rise of shared mobility solutions and addresses a well-known challenge for travelers: reaching an airport quickly and simply without relying on often saturated or costly transport options.
