Dacia Bigster

In the first half of 2025, Dacia has consolidated its position in the French market with 76,593 vehicles registered.

In a general context of a market decline of 7.9%, Dacia’s market share in the passenger car (PC) segment reaches 9.1%, up 0.8 points compared to the same period in 2024. In the private market, this share climbs to 15.2%, representing a one-point increase.

The brand ranks third in France in the overall PC market, and second in sales to private customers. In the professional sales segment, the market share increases to 2.6% (+0.5 points), allowing Dacia to gain two positions in the manufacturers’ ranking.

Dacia aims high with the Bigster

The range has recently expanded with the arrival of the Bigster, a segment C SUV launched in April 2025. This model has already recorded over 10,000 orders and is leading its segment among private customers. In segment B, the Sandero remains the best-selling vehicle to this clientele in France and Europe, while the Duster remains the best-selling SUV to private customers in France.

Dacia is also continuing to develop its alternative powertrains. More than a quarter of its customers opt for hybrid, with the share increasing by over 10 points. The bi-fuel petrol/LPG offer is expanding with the G-140 mild hybrid engine, available on the Bigster. These powertrains now represent one-third of the brand’s sales.

Present in France since 2005, Dacia surpasses the milestone of 2 million vehicles sold, including one million between 2018 and 2025. This growth is part of the strategy defined by the Renaulution plan. The brand, which celebrates its 20 years in France, offers a warranty of up to 7 years through the Dacia Zen program, already subscribed to by 120,000 customers.
