With only 250 units, the Bugatti Tourbillon is already presented as one of the most desirable cars in the world.
For the first Bugatti in over 20 years not powered by the W16 engine, the brand has moved away from the tradition of naming models after legendary Bugatti drivers.

A French word and a subtle nod to Bugatti’s French heritage and its headquarters in Molsheim, the Tourbillon derives its name from the horological invention of a Swiss genius living in France in 1801. Completely original, this unrivaled creation – both beautiful and complex – counteracted the effects of Earth’s gravity on timekeeping to ensure a high precision time measurement. And 200 years later, it is still regarded as the pinnacle of watchmaking.

This new generation Bugatti hypercar is powered by a brand new naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16 engine – developed in collaboration with Cosworth – paired with two electric motors on the front axle and one electric motor on the rear axle. In total, the Tourbillon delivers 1,800 hp, with 1,000 hp generated by the combustion engine and 800 hp from the electric motors. This is an extraordinary performance – made possible through a whole series of lightweight materials and cutting-edge technologies – given that the Veyron achieved 1,001 hp with its 8.0-liter four-turbocharged engine, and the new V16 is completely naturally aspirated. Made from lightweight materials, the engine weighs only 252 kg.
