Another new SUV from Renault!

Here is Symbioz, the new hybrid compact SUV. At Renault, when they like a formula, they consume it until gabpling!

With Captur, Arkana, Scenic, Austral, Rafale, and now Symbioz, the Renault range increasingly resembles an SUV show. Symbioz, according to the manufacturer, refers to the diamond emblem and the French word « symbiose », derived from the ancient Greek « symbiosis », meaning « living together ». A revisiting of the historic slogan « cars to live in ».

Little information available so far about the new vehicle, except that it will strengthen Renault’s C segment. A segment already quite crowded where Symbioz, at 4.41 meters long, will be positioned just after Mégane (4.20 m) and before Scenic (4.47 m), Austral (4.51 m), and Arkana (4.56 m). Initial visuals suggest a general shape closer to a station wagon than a tall SUV. The interior space, however, seems particularly refined with a huge glazed surface.

Inside, it will have all the features to satisfy families with generous space, a large cargo volume, and Renault’s well-established technology, including:

• The next-generation panoramic glass roof Solarbay, based on PDLC technology that becomes opaque without a veil.
• The 145-horsepower full hybrid E-Tech motorization combined with a reduced weight (less than 1500 kg) for driving enjoyment and lower fuel consumption.

Renault Symbioz will be unveiled in spring 2024.
