All the prices for the new Hyundai Santa Fe

Available in France starting at 49,900 euros, the new Hyundai Santa Fe comes with a Hybrid engine.

This fifth generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe primarily emphasizes onboard living space, thanks to an extended wheelbase and a very large opening hatch. With its longer wheelbase, this new model can also accommodate a third row of seats for the very first time.

The cubic profile follows a trend adopted by manufacturers recently with models like the Volvo EX30 or its Korean cousins, the KIA EV3, EV5, and EV9. An exterior design that aims to instill confidence in the car’s solidity and reliability, created to adapt to both urban living and life in the great outdoors. This is emphasized by prominent fenders, imposing wheel arches, a short front overhang, and robust 21-inch wheels. It’s very Hyundai, leaning more towards the masculine than the poetic.

Hyundai has particularly crafted an interior that will delight tech enthusiasts, featuring Relaxation seats with a footrest, a multifunction tablet with UV-C sterilization, and a dual wireless charger for smartphones. It also includes a panoramic curved display combining a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and the infotainment system. With the second and third rows of seats folded down, it offers a true living space for passengers, with an interior height of 958 mm.

For its launch, the Santa Fe features the new Gamma 1.6 Turbo plug-in hybrid engine. It delivers a power of 253 hp with a torque of 367 Nm. Of course, it isn’t a speed demon with a 0 to 100 km/h in 9.3 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h, but it should easily handle all tasks assigned to it without complaint. It introduces an energy recovery system during braking with steering wheel paddles, allowing the driver – in ECO or SMART mode – to adjust the regenerative braking across three different levels.
