Genesis Prestige Black

Genesis, Hyundai’s Premium brand, dares to go pure black with its exclusive Prestige Black finish.

Genesis reaches a new level in its pursuit of prestige in North America. To enhance its premium image, the Korean brand announces the upcoming availability, in the United States, of its most exclusive trim: Prestige Black. To our knowledge, no other manufacturer has gone as far as exploring total black to enhance a finish.

Starting late 2025, this spectacular paint will be available on the most luxurious models in the lineup: the G80 and G90 sedans, as well as the GV80 and GV80 Coupe SUVs. More accessible models like the GV60, GV70, and G70 will not benefit from this treatment.

The Prestige Black finish truly lives up to its name: black bodywork, black wheels, black logos, black inserts, and an interior fully immersed in darkness, down to the smallest details such as controls or even the key. An interior ambiance that can be compared to the sober and powerful uniform of the New Zealand All Blacks.

Black is the color of exception at Genesis

Genesis also promises some special features exclusive to the U.S. version, without revealing their nature yet. Nonetheless, exclusive welcome and farewell animations on the infotainment systems will be part of the immersive experience.

Already available in the South Korean market, this trim grants access to high-end privileges, such as a private Genesis lounge with a bar, restaurant, and listening area. While no similar project is currently planned for the rest of the world, the brand remains open to expanding this concept.

Details and pricing for this exclusive finish will only be known at the end of 2025. But one thing is certain: it will crown the current range with a higher price point, matching its stylistic boldness.
