Romantic Meeting with the Lotus Emeya
The first 100% electric Hyper-GT from Lotus takes a little tour of Europe. We met it in Belgium.
Some encounters are unforgettable, and spotting a Lotus Emeya is one of those moments that makes you think the electric future is quite promising.

The Emeya occupies a unique niche, blending GT and sports car elements. With 5 real seats and a trunk of 509 liters, it is ready to take you around the world in exceptional comfort. But if your right foot gets itchy, its power of up to 918 hp can propel you from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.8 seconds, with a smile on your face despite any neck strain. To suit everyone and every mood, it offers five driving modes: Range, Tour, Sport, Individual, and Track. The driver can adjust the ride height, the stiffness of the air suspension, the acceleration response, the seat configuration (with adjustable lateral supports), and much more to optimize efficiency, performance, and comfort in any environment.
Lotus bids farewell to lightness, but not to sportiness
The Emeya promises, according to Lotus, a unique driving experience despite a weight well over 2 tons. This is a common drawback of electric cars, which we have to accept while waiting for a future where batteries will become lighter. To address this, Lotus has optimized the placement of this battery in the vehicle to accommodate 20% more cells in the same space. The Emeya can achieve a charge of 10 to 80% in 18 minutes on a 350 kW fast charger, offering a maximum range in the WLTP cycle of 435 to 610 km. This is more than sufficient for considering long journeys with peace of mind.

In addition to the augmented reality head-up display, it features a cutting-edge infotainment system on a beautiful 15.1-inch screen. Powered by Unreal Engine technology from the video game world, the vehicle can react quickly in real-time to all changes made by the driver and adapt accordingly.
Six colors are offered besides the Solar Yellow that suits it so well: Akoya White, Stellar Black, Kaimu Grey, and two new finishes, Boreal Grey and Fireglow Orange.

The Lotus Emeya is available in three versions:
- Emeya starting at 109,190 euros
- Emeya S starting at 129,890 euros
- Emeya R starting at 154,090 euros
