Tesla Organizes a Christmas Market in Berlin

Tesla shared images of the Christmas market organized at its European Gigafactory in Berlin.

Tesla had already dressed up its Berlin-Brandenburg Gigafactory in festive attire at the end of November. The Christmas spirit certainly hovers over Tesla, since the automaker shared, of course on X, a video showing a Christmas market organized for its employees. The video features countless Christmas trees, lights, decorations, and of course, many shots of happy employees playing games or sharing a drink during a joyful moment of exchange.

Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, personally praised the event by simply commenting with emojis representing a Christmas tree, a wrapped gift, and a heart.

The decorations were installed at the end of last month, as shown by the photos of the main entrance of the factory that were posted on X. While these photos showed Christmas decorations amidst a snowy landscape, the video shared by Tesla unfortunately did not benefit from this beautiful snow cover, as some sarcastic voices will point out, citing climate change.

Tesla produces the Model Y SUV at its Grünheide site in Germany, in the state of Brandenburg. The site employs approximately 11,500 people.

This is not the first occasion for Tesla to organize such events. The site has also hosted celebrations and festivities in the past, including Family Day for employees and their families in May, and regularly open community workshops, including highly sought-after welding training sessions.
