Renault 5 Roland-Garros

A special Renault 5 E-Tech electric Roland-Garros edition will be unveiled on the occasion of the famous tennis tournament.

During the Roland-Garros tennis tournament, the Renault stand will be exclusively dedicated to Renault 5 E-Tech electric. The Roland-Garros special edition will be displayed for the first time before being released in 2025.

For this special edition, four color options are available: pearlescent white, midnight blue, starry black, as well as matte shale gray exclusively. No clay court colors, and maybe that’s for the best. These colors perfectly match the satin chrome-look roof bars and the 18-inch black diamond-alloy « Eclat » wheels. The wheels feature a distinctive design and are adorned with a matte shale gray central cap for a touch of sporty elegance.

At the front door’s base, a Roland-Garros logo is illuminated at the center of a « Saint Andrew’s Cross » graphic, reminiscent of the stadium’s architecture. A black satin grainy textile roof film with a textile-look covers the Renault 5 E-Tech Roland-Garros pavilion.

Inside, a specific light gray upholstery with a graphic, dense, fine weave takes inspiration from technical sportswear. This 100% recycled textile is combined with areas treated with open-knit meshes (notably in the shape of the « H » of the seatback). The whole is enhanced by side supports covered with blue TEP. The thermo-embossed Roland-Garros logo adorns the front seatbacks.

The seat fabric is featured on the door panels and the dashboard strip, in combination with the blue TEP. An embroidery with « blue white earth » is added below the passenger vent. The crossing decorative piece of the dashboard is in « satin metal » finish. It features a backlit zone with the inscription « Roland-Garros Paris ».

The e-pop shifter is inspired by tennis racket grips. At its end, like at the handle’s base of a racket, is the Roland-Garros logo.

The central console features an induction charging mat dedicated to smartphones, incorporating a bit of legendary Parisian clay court in its manufacturing process. In the same spirit, protective mats with « clay court » loops complete the interior. The brushed aluminum door sills showcase a « Saint Andrew’s Cross » graphic, reminiscent of the stadium’s architecture. They are marked with the « Roland-Garros Paris » name.
