The MG Cyberster electric roadster was officially unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China.
The Cyberster made its grand debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, then was revealed at the Chengdu Auto Show in August. The first units have begun their delivery in China. The final step is completed by MG, which revealed a price range for international versions from 319,800 to 359,800 yuan, equivalent to $44,300 to $49,800 USD, with three trims: Glamour, Style, and Pioneer. The European price for the MG Cyberster has not yet been announced, but it will indeed arrive on the UK market in summer 2024.
The MG Cyberster boasts respectable dimensions with a length of 4,535mm, a width of 1,913mm, and a wheelbase of 2,690mm. It is now known that three levels of trims will be available, offering driving ranges of 501 km, 580 km, and 520 km thanks to an NMC battery manufactured by the joint venture CATL-SAIC. It will be manufactured in China, most likely in its Ningde factory, where the MG4 electric is assembled.
The convertible roof opens in 10 seconds at speeds below 50 km/h. The car is equipped with 20-inch wheels, red four-piston Brembo brake calipers, and of course the now-famous gullwing doors. The interior features the impressive triple LCD screen centered on the driver.
MG also introduced a special edition with all-wheel drive and a red roof, which will be available on the market in March 2024.
