An electric scooter from Segway for under €250: this is an offer worth noticing. The official French store is currently offering the Ninebot E2 Pro E at €249, compared to a normal listed price of €449. The difference reaches €200, or nearly 45%. The model is indicated as in stock at the time of our consultation on November 5th.

Why is the Ninebot E2 Pro E cheaper?

Segway clarifies that its cleared products are new and fully functional, but that their original packaging may be damaged or replaced. This particularity explains the reduced price: one must accept a potentially different or damaged box. Free delivery is announced for purchases over €49. No end date for the promotion is specified on the listing.

Up to 35 km of range, but not at full speed

The E2 Pro E combines a 350 W nominal rear motor, with a peak of 750 W, and a 275 Wh battery. Its maximum speed reaches 25 km/h. Caution: the announced 35 km range is theoretical. Segway indicates up to 27 km at 25 km/h, measured with a load of 75 kg and a temperature of 25 °C.

The equipment includes 10-inch tubeless tires, integrated turn signals, anti-skid, and two braking systems: drum brake at the front and electronic brake at the rear. Apple Locator compatibility also allows finding the scooter via the brand’s network.

Two limitations remain to consider: 18.8 kg on the scale and no suspension. At €249, this Segway is therefore of interest for urban commuting, provided one considers the weight and the surface on their daily route.
