Alpine birthday

After a year of celebrations, Alpine wraps up the festivities of its 70th anniversary and accelerates its development with the upcoming electric A110.

At Alpine, the 70th anniversary celebrations have now come to an end. After all, anniversaries are meant to celebrate the past, but also to prepare for the future! Following twelve months of celebrations held around the world, the automaker from Dieppe is opening a new phase in its development with a completely renewed range.

Since May 2025, Alpine has multiplied events dedicated to its history. From Dieppe, the birthplace of the brand founded by Jean Rédélé, to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, as well as Rétromobile, Le Mans Classic, and numerous international events, historical models have shared the stage with the latest creations of the brand.

A blue electric future

However, this anniversary year was not solely focused on celebrating the past. It also served as a showcase for Alpine’s new strategy. The A290, the first 100% electric sports city car, has launched this new generation, quickly joined by the fastback sports model A390. In 2027, the next electric Alpine A110 will complement this offensive aimed at sustainably transforming the manufacturer.

This ramp-up is also reflected in commercial expansion. Present in 25 countries, Alpine plans to increase its distribution network from 210 to 300 points of sale by the end of 2026. This growth aligns with the brand’s stated ambitions in key international markets.

To conclude this 70-year sequence, Alpine is also unveiling a photographic work created by artist Axel Ruhomaully, as well as a retrospective video revisiting the highlights of this year of celebration.

The message is clear: Alpine does not wish to rest on its prestigious legacy. The 70 years have served to remind its history, but above all to highlight its future. From now on, the brand wants to be judged on its new generation of models, set to write the next chapter of the adventure that began in 1955.
