The new Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 gain power, range, and charging speed. The same but much better!

Polestar accelerates the evolution of its electric lineup with the opening of orders for the new generations of SUVs 3 and 4. The Swedish brand focuses on major technical improvements to enhance performance, energy efficiency, and driving experience.

The main technological leap concerns the Polestar 3, now equipped with an 800-volt electric architecture. This SUV can accept up to 350 kW in DC fast charging, allowing it to go from 10 to 80% battery in just 22 minutes. Thanks to the intelligent Breathe Charge software, thermal management optimizes charging speed while preserving battery life. According to Polestar, up to 38% additional range can be recovered with 10 minutes of fast charging.

Severe Upgrade

Performance also improves with power increased to 500 kW on the Performance version. The manufacturer also announces a more dynamic driving experience thanks to a new power distribution, a revised chassis, and a recalibrated steering. The SUV also benefits from a new NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin processor, eight times more powerful than the previous generation.

For its part, the Polestar 4 officially evolves into the “Polestar 4 Coupe.” This electric SUV receives a completely overhauled chassis to enhance agility, comfort, and driving precision. The Dual Motor version remains the fastest model in the lineup with a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds.
