The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Enters the Museum
The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale returns to the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, where it will be on display until January 6.
This presentation marks the second appearance of the model at the Lombard institution, following its official unveiling by Alfa Romeo on August 30, 2023. It comes after a North American tour that took the vehicle to several major automotive events in the United States before its return to Italy.
The 33 Stradale is located in a dedicated space in the “Timeline” section of the museum, near the wind tunnel model. This setup highlights the historical continuity between the brand’s aerodynamic work, its design approach, and the pursuit of performance. The choice of this location also allows the model to be placed within the timeline of Alfa Romeo creations, in dialogue with historical vehicles and prototypes exhibited in Arese.
A Beautiful and Rare Alfa
Produced in only 33 units, the new 33 Stradale draws directly from the original 33 Stradale from the late 1960s and the Tipo 33 race car. The project is based on a high degree of craftsmanship, with each car being individually made as part of the Bottega Fuoriserie program. Technically, the model is equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine developing 630 horsepower, with high-level performance claims including a 0 to 100 km/h time of less than three seconds and a top speed of 333 km/h.

Before its return to Arese, the 33 Stradale was showcased at several international events, notably at the Monterey Car Week, with appearances at Motorlux, The Quail, and the Laguna Seca circuit. It was also exhibited at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, as well as at MACCHINISSIMA, before concluding its American tour at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, the Los Angeles Motor Show, and Art Basel. The Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, reopened in 2015, is structured around three spaces – Timeline, Bellezza, and Velocità – tracing the history and evolution of the brand. Until January 6, it will also host the temporary exhibition “Colore,” dedicated to the various shades of red in the Alfa Romeo universe.
