Autonomy, charging time, power: Sweden’s No.1 RGNT makes progress on several fronts.

Based on the same platform, RGNT has developed two attractive electric motorcycles: the No.1 Classic and the No.1 Scrambler. Technically very similar, these models now benefit from a number of improvements just a few months after their last update.

Up to 150 km of range

To make its motorcycles more appealing, RGNT first increased the battery capacity, which now goes from 8.5 to 9.5 kWh. The range increases by 30 km, now reaching 150 km. RGNT also installed a more efficient onboard charger, allowing a charge from 20% to 80% in 3 hours.

Less energy-consuming thanks to an improved motor, the No.1 models also become more powerful. The motor, which is integrated into the rear hub, delivers a peak power of 21 kW with the new Boost mode. Continuous power is limited to 9 kW however. The No.1 Classic and Scrambler are therefore equivalent to 125cc bikes, accessible with a B or A1 license. They can reach a top speed of 120 km/h.

RGNT bikes focus on a vintage style to attract attention. Above, a No.1 Classic.

Starting at €14,995

The new No.1 (or No.1 Version 2.0 according to the official designation) features a low-speed noise simulator for pedestrian safety. They also come with a 7-inch screen with built-in GPS navigation and a keyless start system.

Unfortunately, these electric bikes are not affordable for everyone. You should budget a minimum of €14,495 for the No.1 Classic, and €15,495 for the Scrambler variant. Orders are already open, with initial deliveries planned for the second half of 2022. Curious buyers can see the bikes up close at RGNT’s Paris store.
