The crunchy S4 Honcho from LiveWire is here!

With the S4 Honcho Trail and Street, LiveWire accelerates its push into the lightweight and accessible electric motorcycle segment.

LiveWire, Harley-Davidson’s electric subsidiary, takes a new step in its international development with the launch of production for the new S4 Honcho Trail and S4 Honcho Street. First presented during the Harley-Davidson Homecoming in Milwaukee and then at EICMA in Milan, this groundbreaking platform marks the American brand’s entry into the strategic segment of lightweight electric motorcycles.

Designed to appeal to a broad audience, the S4 Honchos focus on ease of handling, a weight of about 120 kg, and performance suitable for daily use. Equivalent to 125 cc motorcycles, they are accessible with an A1 license in Europe, a major advantage for expanding LiveWire’s potential customer base.

For the city and… the less urban

Available in Trail and Street versions, these new electric motorcycles offer a top speed of 95 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 48 km/h in just three seconds. Their dual removable battery allows for a range of up to 86 km according to the WMTC cycle, or even 118 km at a stabilized speed of 30 km/h. Charging from 20% to 80% takes about two hours on a standard 230 V outlet.

“The S4 Honcho aims to make electric riding accessible to a much wider audience,” explains Karim Donnez, CEO of LiveWire. The brand targets not only new riders but also urban users, adventure enthusiasts, and campers.

Produced by Taiwanese manufacturer KYMCO and distributed through the international Harley-Davidson network, the S4 Honcho platform is at the heart of LiveWire’s growth strategy. The first deliveries are expected as early as summer 2026.

Prices start at €5,299 for the S4 Honcho Trail and €5,799 for the Street version.
