Polestar 3 Reveals Its Silhouette, the Model 5 Arrives at Goodwood

The premium manufacturer founded by Volvo and Geely communicates heavily about its projects. Currently, it is mainly aiming to attract attention to two upcoming models: the Polestar 3 and the 5.

A Polestar 3 in the starting blocks…

The Polestar 3 will be the brand’s next major novelty. The full reveal will take place on October 1st, and orders will open immediately afterward. The vehicle will be a SUV comparable to the larger models on the market in terms of size. It is seen in profile in the cover image released recently by Polestar.

Without going into technical details, the manufacturer has promised a range of 600 km and announced that the higher-end versions—those available first—will be equipped with two motors.

And a 5 that will take a bit longer

Meanwhile, Polestar is also working on an all-electric four-door sedan. This model will compete in the segment of the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT. Previewed by a concept in 2020, it will soon make an appearance at the Goodwood Festival in England. But it will be just a prototype, heavily camouflaged.

The specifications of the Polestar 5 are not yet known. The car is probably still in development, as the launch is only planned for 2024. In the meantime, the brand will have also added the Polestar 4, a more compact SUV coupe than the 3, to its catalog. Scheduled for 2023, this model has yet to be teased.
