Niu KQi3 Max: a high-end scooter

Niu has launched its new high-end KQi3 MAX scooter and is targeting the premium segment with a more powerful motor.

In the field of electric mobility, the Niu brand spreads its catalog. Its reputation began with scooters, including the most powerful Niu MQi, but it also manufactures electric bikes and electric scooters. Available in two versions, Sport and Pro, its KQi range has been available in France since 2021.

The latest model, the Niu KQi3 Max scooter, introduces some improvements over the KQi3 Pro. Visually, it resembles its smaller sisters, with a wide handlebar for better grip, especially for taller users. Likewise, the scooter features the same deck and 9.5-inch wheels.

To anticipate challenges, especially in congested city centers, the Niu KQi3 Max features a triple braking system, with front and rear disc brakes, as well as a rear electric brake.

Are performances improving?

Most notably, it is in acceleration that this new model is expected to stand out. The maximum power of 900 W should give it faster acceleration and help it climb slopes of up to 25%. The 608.4 Wh battery should also allow a range of 65 km. However, the charging time is quite high, taking about 8 hours for a full charge. With this power and large range, the Niu KQi3 Max aims to compete with the Segway P65E.

What is the price of the Niu KQi3 Max scooter?
