Charles Darwin and his natural selection never anticipated the creation, one day, of an electric two-wheeled vehicle capable of accelerating to 50 km/h in 4 seconds, reaching 70 km/h, and traveling up to 90 km. Yet, these are the performances now offered by the Segway GT2P, which can be purchased for 2999 euros.
A substantial price tag, sure, but the sensations promise to be insane. The only catch: if the GT2P is available for purchase in France, it is prohibited from circulation. Indeed, the Highway Code restricts the speed of scooters in France to 25 km/h. Segway-Ninebot therefore clarifies that its product can only be used on race circuits and/or private properties.
Among other features, the GT2P has two drive wheels, front and rear double-arm suspensions with adjustable hydraulic damping, 11″ airless tires, dual disc brakes, and front LED lights, as well as braking and front/rear turn signals.
