MG and His Athletic Trio

MG plays the sports card with its Cyberster roadster accompanied by the MG4 XPOWER of 435 horsepower as well as the Performance version of the Marvel R.

Presented for the first time on mainland Europe at Goodwood then at the IAA Mobility show, the Cyberster is the flagship of MG’s sporting ambitions. Two powertrain options are announced by MG to propel the beast. 310 hp on the rear wheels alone and a diabolical 536 hp version equipped with two motors and all-wheel drive. The latter is capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds. But only if the power can be transferred to the ground! The 100% electric Roadster was ahead of the European market by the high-performance compact MG4 XPOWER>, the latest addition to the MG4 line. This revival of the XPOWER badge makes it the most powerful serial MG ever produced.

As MG, now under Chinese ownership, begins celebrations for its centenary, the Cyberster marks a highly anticipated return to sports roadsters that have made its legend. Launched last July, the MG4 XPOWER is the most high-performance model of the compact MG4 sedan. With 435 horsepower and all-wheel drive, the MG4 XPOWER offers capabilities entirely unattainable at a price below €45,000 for a heavily taxed internal combustion car. Its performance (excluding range) is simply stunning, with a 0 to 100 km/h sprint completed in 3 seconds and 8 tenths.

Finally, the largest SUV in the lineup, the Marvel R, completes this outstanding trio in its most powerful Performance version, featuring three motors and all-wheel drive.
