The Ultimate Bicycle by Red Bull and BMC

BMC launches the brand new SpeedMachine, a five-year project with Red Bull Advanced Technologies aimed at producing the fastest time-trial and triathlon bike in the world.

BMC engineers initiated this project to create the world’s fastest bike. The all-new SpeedMachine is the result of combining the technological expertise of the bicycle manufacturer and Red Bull Advanced Technologies.

A Two-Wheeled F1

Red Bull Advanced Technologies, the engineering firm responsible for Red Bull Racing’s Formula 1 program, multiple world champions, conducted extensive research and testing focused on technology to develop the new SpeedMachine.

Efforts focused on maneuverability and stability, especially during descents. It is more rigid and responsive than previous BMC competition models, which are crucial conditions for a good time-trial bike, where courses often feature technical turns with descents and more rolling ascents.

Lightweight and Versatile

The new design includes only 20 components, a significant reduction and a major factor in reducing the frame weight by 500 g. Only four bolts are needed to rotate the entire handlebars for storage in a case or transport bag.

Of course, such technology comes at a cost. The SpeedMachine will be available from November 2023 at the following prices:
