SEAT Ibiza

The SEAT Ibiza truly gave the Spanish brand a legitimacy within the big circus of automotive manufacturers.

Taking its name from the festive Balearic island, the SEAT Ibiza marked a turning point in the company’s success and has sold over six million units across five generations since 1984.

The first SEATs were only rebadged and very lightly restyled FIATs. The first-generation SEAT Ibiza was the first vehicle developed by the brand without relying on a technological partner. Indeed, SEAT relied on internal expertise and on the design expertise of partners Giorgetto Giugiaro for the exterior, Karmann for the interior, and Porsche for the powertrain. For the record, it was, however, a project of the Golf II rejected by the brand’s new shareholder, the Volkswagen Group.

Four decades later, here is the SEAT Ibiza Anniversary Limited Edition. It features new equipment and colors, as well as new alloy wheels and design elements.

The vehicle features a new exclusive color, Graphene Grey for the bodywork and Cosmo Grey for the 18-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, the “Anniversary Limited Edition” logo is laser-engraved on the B-pillar of the car. Inside, the cabin is enhanced with exclusive textile bucket seats, offering unprecedented dynamism and comfort to the driver and front passenger. Moreover, the doors and center console have a new matte dark aluminum finish, and the “Anniversary Limited Edition” logo is laser-engraved on the door sills.

The SEAT Ibiza Anniversary Limited Edition will be available from the first quarter of 2024.
