Burger King Adds Electric Vehicle Charging to Its Menu

Burger King France has formed a partnership with Allego to provide ultra-fast charging options at its restaurants.

Following the tender process by Burger King France, Allego was selected as the partner for installing ultra-fast charging stations in the fast food parking lots for the next three years. The partnership has the potential to enable the deployment of a large number of ultra-fast charging stations at the chain’s French locations. The first stations are expected to be operational by the third quarter of 2024.

Allego currently operates a network of 190 ultra-fast charging sites in France under its own name. This new partnership will allow the company to take a step forward, similar to its existing collaborations with other brands. The company is currently deploying a network of 4,000 charging stations in 400 Carrefour hypermarkets, Pathé cinemas, or Klépierre shopping centers. Allego ambitiously aims to become one of the leading providers of charging solutions in the French market.
