Audi is doing well with its charging stations

Clean, modern, and welcoming spaces located near service and dining offers. Here is the Audi Formula.

Audi has opened its sixth Audi Charging Hub recharge center in Frankfurt am Main. On Orber Straße, drivers of all brands of electric cars can recharge their vehicles with a power of up to 320 kW thanks to four high-power charging stations. While their vehicle is charging, users can enjoy visiting Klassikstadt Frankfurt, located nearby. Audi has partnered with this company, housed in a former factory listed as a historic site, which has a collection of classic and modern cars of international renown and offers a multitude of services. Customers can choose from a wide selection of snacks, drinks, and hot meals and enjoy them in an attractive and comfortable setting.

Welcoming and simplifying

Furthermore, all Audi charging stations are designed to be accessible. An articulated arm, for which a patent has been filed, adjustable-height screens, and ample maneuvering space, for example for a wheelchair, facilitate recharging for everyone, including people with disabilities.

In Nuremberg, where Audi has operated a charging center with six stations since December 2021, a 200-square-meter lounge welcomes customers upstairs.

Following trials in Berlin and Munich, a customer service concept is also being used for the first time in Frankfurt. Trained staff provide advice and assistance via a camera. Advisors can remotely monitor the charging process. In case of authentication difficulties, they can indicate the possibility of payment by credit card, for example. Audi also offers assistance with setting up the Plug & Charge service. The service is accessible via a hotline.
