Through its  Climate Plan, Grand Paris Seine Ouest has challenged itself to reduce car traffic and its nuisances by developing alternative solutions to car use, among which cycling trips are naturally included.

The cities of the territorial public establishment (Boulogne-Billancourt, Chaville, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Marnes-la-Coquette, Meudon, Sèvres, Vanves, and Ville-d’Avray) have launched a Bike Plan aimed at developing various actions to increase and facilitate cycling. Among the many initiatives, one of them is to organize workshops of different types across the territory through several fun modules:

• Introducing cycling in a safe environment
• Helping and training cyclists to be autonomous for minor repairs and routine maintenance of their bikes
• Providing residents and users with actions against bicycle theft
• Developing a cycling culture by creating an encouraging environment

Today, Saturday, March 16, a workshop welcomed Boulogne residents on Jules Guesde Square. An opportunity to have your bike serviced or to chat in the sun among cycling enthusiasts.
