Autonomous shuttles at Roland-Garros!

Renault will test its electric and autonomous shuttle service during the two-week period of Roland-Garros.
As a premium partner of the Roland-Garros tournament, Renault is innovating with WeRide by implementing an experimental electric and autonomous shuttle service that will facilitate access to the Stade de la Porte d’Auteuil while demonstrating the maturity of new technologies for automated public transportation services.

These mini-buses meet the L4 level of autonomy. They can independently handle driving situations within a defined operational area, with remote supervision, but without an onboard operator. They are the result of a new collaboration between Renault and WeRide, a globally recognized leader in autonomous driving. WeRide has become a worldwide reference for autonomous vehicles, with over 700 vehicles in service (including 300 mini-buses) that have traveled more than 28 million km across Asia, the Middle East, and North America… and starting next week in Europe.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., from May 26 to June 9, 2024, this experimental service will allow passengers to travel from Parking P2 (located near the Bois-de-Boulogne) to the Roland-Garros stadium. And, after matches, to leave Roland-Garros to go to Place de la Porte d’Auteuil or return to Parking P2.
