Aerial images taken in East Hollywood show how quickly the main building that will house the restaurant has taken shape. The complex, announced back in 2018, is expected to open by the end of the year, bringing to life Elon Musk’s wild project to revive the spirit of the 1950s through this rebirth of the drive-in.
The complex will be open to all brands of electric vehicles and, of course, coincides with the adoption of Tesla’s charging standard by almost all automakers, granting them access to the manufacturer’s Superchargers.
It remains to be seen how the locals will receive it. Let’s remember that the project was initially supposed to take place in Santa Monica but had to be moved to a less residential area.
