Ohme presents a new smart device designed for charging electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

If you are not yet familiar with Ohme, this company is the official supplier of charging stations for the Volkswagen Group and Polestar in the UK and Ireland, as well as for Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai in the UK and Volvo Cars in Ireland. Following the launch of the ePod S in France, Ohme is expanding its portfolio and smart charging technology by offering the Ohme Go cable.

A cable for everything

The Ohme Go provides an immediate solution for users of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, for whom a charging station is not essential:

• its “Plug and Play” system allows drivers to plug it in at home, at work, or on the go, without prior installation;
• charging can be controlled remotely from the free smartphone app;
• the cable geolocates charging sessions for better consumption tracking.

Fleet managers also benefit from access to a charging management platform that the Ohme Go connects to in real-time, providing an overview of company vehicle consumption. They can track consumption by charging location for each cable, facilitating the management of employee reimbursements.
