Cheaper recharges for every French gold medal!

Thanks to Electra, there’s a good reason to closely follow the performance of the French delegation at the Paris 2014 Olympics!

Electra finally brings us a little ray of sunshine amidst the unbearable controversies surrounding the Paris Olympic Games. Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter who swims the best and, importantly, without getting sick, which neighborhood in Paris will be the least congested, who will sing at the opening ceremony, or who has the right to move where and when. Thus, for every gold medal won by France at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the price of kWh will drop by 1 cent at Electra. Between July 26 and August 11 for the Olympics, and between August 28 and September 8 for the Paralympics, motorists charging their electric vehicles at Electra will see their bill decrease with each gold medal earned, and this will apply across the entire network of the operator.

At first glance, one might think that a 1-cent reduction per gold medal is not going to put the operator in trouble. But think again, because if France reaches 29 gold medals, the reductions could halve the bill!
