Decathlon presents two skate capsule collections

Decathlon rides the wave of the Paris 2024 Olympics that has once again highlighted urban sports such as skateboarding.

This beautiful sporty summer has only confirmed that skateboarding is a gentle form of mobility that is practiced in bowls and worn in the streets. A pioneer of mainstream sporty streetwear, Decathlon launches a new collaboration with eight-time French Skate champion Joseph Garbaccio, focused on sneakers. The CRUSH900 Garbaccio Pro combines the best of the brand’s technologies dedicated to skateboarding with a fun and urban look. This project started 2 years ago to provide optimal cushioning and comfort. The arch is also protected by a thermoplastic piece located between the outsole and the midsole. This rubber-based component offers good flexibility while ensuring high abrasion resistance. Safety is enhanced by a double lacing system.

The unisex Crush 900 is available in sizes 39 to 46 in two different colors: white & lavender and black & gum, at an accessible price of 69 euros.

Decathlon further enriches its co-creation with Dutch champion and sports influencer Roos Zwetsloot with a new collection consisting of a lined canvas jacket priced at 70 euros, a crew neck sweatshirt at 30 euros, and a 6-panel cap at 15 euros. The pieces are raw and streamlined in a “workwear” style and feature the Poppy Rose, the skater’s favorite flower. The logo is embroidered on the pocket of the jacket, on the crewneck, and on the cap. This rose is adorned with a blue reminiscent of the porcelain from the Delft region of the Netherlands. The collection is made from unbleached pieces to limit water consumption, a joint desire of Roos and the Decathlon designers.
