Decathlon Launches Its Black Friday Sale on Bicycles

With a week in advance, Decathlon is already immersed in Black Friday with attractive discounts on bikes and scooters.

Should you rush? The situation is always tricky between the risk of stocks running out very quickly and the possible second round of promotions as Black Friday approaches. The question arises when examining the price reductions offered by Decathlon on a wide selection of two-wheel mobility solutions, including bikes (in all forms) and scooters.

But with discounts ranging from 50 to 300 euros on products that sometimes cost up to 5000 euros, one might say that Decathlon’s approach seems strangely timid. It is not in Decathlon’s usual habits to proceed cautiously.

-10% in total?

No need to pull out the calculator to notice the percentage of discounts at Decathlon. On the very interesting light green electric cargo longtail bike R500E (black and orange are not discounted), the price drop is 300 euros, or 10%. Thus, the price falls from 2999 to 2699 euros, which remains a significant expense for a family.

The same applies to the large Cargo F990E that can carry up to 4 children. This bike, in addition to the parent riding and pedaling, can therefore transport up to 5 people and intelligently replace a car in the city. Unfortunately, its price simply drops from 4999 to 4699 euros, with again a 300 euro reduction.

We are very far from the usual -50%, or even -80%, often seen during Black Friday deals. Therefore, we return to the headline of this article: should you rush or wait a few days to see how Decathlon’s promotional policy evolves? Black Friday sales will extend until December 1, 2024…
