Start-up Producing the Electric Plane Integral E Achieves Successful First Test Before Its Use in Aviation Schools?

That’s it, the Integral-E from Aura Aero has taken flight. We mentioned it in a previous article, Aura Aero secured 95 million euros from Europe through the “Innovative Fund” program. This allowed them to advance their electric aircraft project, and the Integral E was even showcased at the auto show. It was waiting to enter the testing phase, and now it has. Aura Aero may even integrate into French aviation schools in the coming months thanks to the performance of their vehicle.

A Test Filled with Success

From Toulouse-Francazal airport, the Integral E took off for the first time on Tuesday, December 3 at 8:48 am. The duration of this twin-seat, 100% electric flight is not currently known. However, it is known that it has a range of one hour of flight, with a recharge time of 30 minutes.

The success of this test is very important for Aura Aero’s project’s future, which now hopes to see its aircraft used in aviation schools. A very good way for the company to establish itself sustainably in the landscape of French aviation.

An Aircraft Intended for Leisure and Education

Aura Aero’s management expressed great enthusiasm following the test. “It is a very emotional day for all Aura Aero teams. The first flight of the Integral E is a huge step forward, not only because the Integral family is now complete but also because this aircraft is one of the first to meet, in electric version, many needs expressed by training schools and flying clubs,” said Jérémy Caussade, president and co-founder of Aura Aero.

Indeed, the Integral E could soon become a staple in aviation schools and flying clubs. It represents a significantly lower cost compared to thermal aircraft with similar characteristics.
