InBicy iO: The Modular Cargo Bicycle for All Uses

This is an ideal bike for families who enjoy traveling on two wheels. The iO from InBicy is an original cargo bike concept. Its special feature is the patented Flash Switch system, which allows for easy and quick modification of the bike’s configuration.

It is possible to add or remove front baskets, luggage carriers, or rear seats without tools. It also allows you to carry up to 200 kg, whether passengers or equipment. At the back, the luggage rack supports up to 90 kg, and the front basket can hold 25 kg, a rarity in this category.

Versions adapted to diverse needs

The iO comes in two main versions. The muscle version, weighing approximately 19 kg, is perfect for flat terrains or short trips. Otherwise, the electric version uses a Mivice Cargo X700 motor with 100 Nm combined with a Samsung 540 Wh battery. It offers a range of 60 to 80 km, depending on the assistance level and load. For comfort enthusiasts, the Bi-Drive version includes a telescopic fork and a suspended seat post, ideal for uneven terrains.

In terms of components, the bike is equipped with mechanical disc brakes and an 8-speed Shimano Acera derailleur. While these are entry-level components, they are complemented by durable accessories such as SKS fenders, Kenda 24-inch tires, and an Ergotec Aerowing II handlebar.

Price and options

The iO is available starting at €2,915 for the muscle version, with prices rising to €5,240 for the Bi-Drive electric version. Accessories such as baskets or support bars are sold separately.
