To address these issues, MG Motor and IZI by EDF have announced a partnership aimed at simplifying access to electric mobility.
The MG Network Activated
Officially launched on June 17, 2025, this agreement allows MG Motor customers to access a turnkey solution for installing home charging stations. When purchasing an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, the 184 distributors of the MG Motor network in France will automatically offer this support solution.
Specifically, the system is based on several pillars. The specific needs of each customer are first assessed by experts from IZI by EDF. A unique advisor, based in France, then supports the customer throughout the process. A personalized quote is proposed, taking into account the type of charging station chosen, whether classic or connected.
The installation is then carried out by a qualified IRVE professional, a member of the IZI by EDF network, ensuring compliance and safety of the equipment installed.
This partnership is part of the commitment of both parties to support the energy transition and to remove barriers to the electrification of uses. By facilitating home charging, MG Motor and IZI by EDF aim to respond to a growing demand while reassuring future electric vehicle buyers.
