NIU Unveils Its New Electric Scooters

NIU unveils the KQi 300-Series, the new models in its urban micromobility range.

NIU, the global leader in electric mobility, expands its lineup with new models featuring enticing characteristics, the KQi 300-Series. Elegance, performance, and durability are on the agenda to offer, according to the manufacturer, an unmatched riding experience. A quite appealing program, but does it live up to its promise?

The first model in this series, the NIU KQi 300P, offers a top speed legally limited to 25 km/h with a range of 48 km. It features 267 x 64 mm (10.5-inch) tires, dual hydraulic front suspension, integrated turn signals, and regenerative braking system with dual discs (front and rear). The 48V lithium battery has a capacity of 486.7Wh 10.4Ah, providing a nominal power of 450W.

This model offers multiple riding modes, such as E-Save, Sport, Custom, and Pedestrian, with a maximum incline of 20%. It is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, OTA updates, and smart features like GPS tracking, riding statistics, remote unlocking, and charge limitation.

The second model in the series, the NIU KQi 300X, shares the technical specifications of the 300 P but boasts a range of 60 km thanks to a 48V lithium battery with a capacity of 608.4Wh 13Ah, offering a nominal power of 500W.

The pricing is interesting, as is often the case with NIU, since the KQi 300P and KQi 300X models will be available in France from May 2024 at recommended prices of €549.99 and €649.99, respectively.
