Yadea Voltguard VFV: a new large-wheel electric scooter
This page is translated from the original post "Yadea Voltguard VFV : un nouveau scooter électrique à grandes roues" in French.

Busy schedule for Yadea in Milan, with not one but two new products: the Keeness VFD motorcycle, and this electric scooter named Voltguard VFV.
While the Keeness VFD introduces a new segment at Yadea, which had never before offered a motorcycle, the Voltguard VFV complements an already extensive scooter lineup. It allows Yadea to position itself in the large-wheel model market.
The Voltguard VFV features a centrally positioned motor, delivering a rated power of 3 kW (5 kW peak). The two removable batteries each have a capacity of 2 kWh. In terms of performance, Yadea claims a 0 to 50 km/h acceleration in 4 seconds and a maximum speed of 80 km/h. The Chinese manufacturer also promises “almost 200 km of range”… at a stabilized speed of 30 km/h. Naturally, actual conditions will likely result in a significantly lower figure.

An electric scooter with a storage compartment
Like many scooters in its category, the Yadea Voltguard VFV omits ABS but features combined disc braking. The scooter is equipped with a LED headlight, a USB port, and a keyless start system. The large seat, 770 mm high, can accommodate a second passenger. It opens to reveal a 21-liter trunk, large enough to fit a helmet, according to Yadea. A shopping bag can also be placed on the spacious flat floorboard.
Like the Keeness VFD, the Voltguard VFV is part of Yadea’s 2023 lineup. It should be available on the market very soon. The price has not been announced yet. For reference, a Yadea C1S Pro (6 kW motor and double 1.44 kWh battery) is sold for €5,690 excluding incentives.
