An ice-cold Vespa, not cheap, to celebrate the Year of the Snake

Vespa continues its two-wheeled reinterpretation of the Chinese calendar with the 946 Snake, paying tribute to the Year of the Snake.

With the Vespa 946 Snake, Piaggio proves that you can combine winter and elegance as soon as you forget about the big scarf and runny nose. This limited edition celebrates the Year of the Snake by adding a touch of mystery and a lot of style on icy roads. Inspired by winter landscapes, the Vespa 946 Snake is adorned with an iridescent blue that evokes the reflections of ice under a rays of sunshine. But the true star is the snake. Note that you have to look carefully for the small totem reptile with handles and a seat that mimic reptilian textures, and a small chrome snake subtly placed on the fuel cap and the fender. This scooter plays on finesse, and perhaps that’s not such a bad thing.

So yes, one might think that this cold-blooded snake would prefer tropical beaches and sand and coconuts décor. But let’s be honest, it suits winter quite well, doesn’t it? And anyway, fire is the domain of its cousin, the dragon.

Produced in only 888 pieces, the Vespa 946 Snake joins Vespa’s “Lunar Collection,” which pays homage to the Chinese lunar calendar. After the Dragon, it’s the turn of the Snake to stand out with its charismatic discretion and icy charm. To fully exploit this trend, Vespa also offers matching accessories and a ready-to-wear capsule collection. The highlight? A long quilted coat that envelops you like a cloud, and an icy-reflective bomber jacket that won’t go unnoticed. And let’s not forget the helmet, perfect for riding safely while remaining stylish.
