Honda confirms the name, production date, and specifications of its very first electric motorcycle, the WN7.
Honda officially announced today several details regarding its very first electric motorcycle, derived from the EV FUN concept presented at the EICMA 2024 show. The production model will be marketed under the name WN7, a symbolic name. The “W” refers to the wind and the silence of its operation, the “N” indicates the absence of fairings (Naked), and the number 7 corresponds to the power category of the machine.

Production of the WN7 will begin at the end of 2025, with the first deliveries expected in dealerships in 2026. The motorcycle has been tested and refined on various European roads to ensure an optimal balance between performance, comfort, and handling.
Honda promises an authentic experience
This new electric motorcycle stands out with a reported range exceeding 130 km thanks to its non-removable lithium-ion battery. For charging, Honda offers two options: a fast charge via the CCS2 standard that allows charging from 20 to 80% in about 30 minutes, and a full charge at home in less than three hours with a 6 kW home system.

The WN7 weighs 217 kg and features an 18 kW liquid-cooled motor. This power, combined with a torque of 100 Nm, offers performance close to that of a 600 cc thermal engine roadster. The A1 version at 11 kW will accommodate holders of restricted motorcycle licenses.

Honda promises a driving experience different from traditional thermal motorcycles, emphasizing silence, smooth operation, and the absence of vibrations and polluting emissions. The brand’s historical qualities—homogeneity, reliability, efficiency, and riding pleasure—are retained, relying on over 75 years of experience and more than 500 million motorcycles produced since 1948.
