The famous e-commerce site eBay has run its algorithms to determine what the dream garage of every car enthusiast would be.

The ultimate car enthusiast’s garage has been revealed by eBay. In addition to essential equipment for any Petrolhead, such as an inspection pit and a hydraulic lift, it would feature a Batman-style turntable. By combining the insights of 2,000 car enthusiasts with the architectural expertise of a design firm, a projection of this ideal garage has been created.

It includes space for two classic cars, automated doors, custom service carts, and all the tools a car enthusiast might need. Among other features are a high-end automotive diagnostic tool, multi-point lighting, and, of course, environmentally friendly air conditioning and heating.

The study revealed that 42% of professionals believe that their current garages limit their passion for cars. As a result, 64% of them are considering moving to a “perfect garage,” and would be willing to spend an average of 4.9% more than the asking price to do so.

The study also found that the Aston Martin DB5 (22%) is the car that respondents would most like to have in their ideal garage, ahead of the Jaguar Type E (18%), Porsche 911 (17%), Ford Mustang (17%), and Audi R8 (17%).

To complete the equipment, there should be an electric vehicle charging port, a tire changer, an air compressor, a full bodywork workshop, ventilation for spray painting, and an integrated drainage system so owners can wash their cars inside.

But if work is important, well-being also matters, with a refrigerator/freezer, a mini-kitchen, a jukebox, and… a pool table.
