Full success for Ford utility vehicles

Ford Pro wins two prestigious awards: the International Utility Vehicle of the Year and the Pickup of the Year awards.

The award ceremony, held at the Solutrans exhibition in Lyon, was a moment of great recognition for Ford Pro.

A jury of 25 journalists specializing in utility vehicles selected the all-new Ford Transit Custom1,2 as the 2024 International Van of the Year. This new model, leading the van market, has been available in Europe since the beginning of the year. It offers the broadest range of variants ever offered, including advanced digital features such as a 5G modem for ultra-fast connectivity4, software updates for more than 30 vehicle modules, a delivery assistance system that saves over 20 seconds per stop, integrated Alexa5, an adjustable steering wheel, and a versatile MultiCab body for enhanced productivity, continuing the strengths established by its predecessors.

In addition, the Ford Ranger has won the Pickup of the Year award for the third time, setting a new record. The Ford Ranger, developed by designers and engineers at Ford’s Australian engineering center, is produced in six Ford factories across four continents. Very popular with customers in Europe, it has been the best-selling pickup in the region for the past eight years, accounting for nearly half of all pickup sales there.
