The tyranny of the triangle sandwich comes to an end with highway Food Trucks

Are you tired of triangle sandwiches but have neither the time nor the budget for a restaurant break? Think FoodTrucks!

FoodTrucks are setting up all summer along holiday routes to offer a pleasant break with delicious homemade dishes. A new practical way to eat quickly, and especially at a low price.

Until August 31, FoodTrucks are taking advantage of ideal summer conditions to set up at small highway rest areas. The idea is not to compete with large restaurant chains or divert customers from service stations, but rather to offer a healthy and tasty alternative. The selection is quite varied to satisfy everyone with local products, homemade dishes, and of course a wide range of world cuisine. The FoodTrucks will primarily be open on weekends to take advantage of the vacation rush. Among other treats, you can find O’Grill’s grilled burgers or Breizh Gaufres’ savory organic buckwheat waffles along the road. Want an adventure? Head to Guadeloupe with Kaz O Roro and its traditional bokit sandwiches, or to Canada with L’original and its authentic poutines.

Eat well to travel better

To meet all needs, these FoodTrucks will offer “essential” products, including cold or hot drinks, ice creams, and all sorts of treats. The stations hosting the pleasure trucks have been chosen among those offering shaded areas and/or misters. Electric travelers will also be able to recharge at several of these rest areas equipped with ultra-fast charging stations.
