The new Raval marks CUPRA’s entry into the strategic segment of affordable electric city cars.

With the Raval, CUPRA takes a new step in its electric development. This compact city car is based on the MEB+ platform from the Volkswagen Group, dedicated to the group’s zero-emission models. Produced in Martorell, Spain, it embodies the desire to industrialize a more accessible electric offering in Europe.

Positioned below traditional electric compact models, the Raval targets a wide urban audience while maintaining the brand’s dynamic positioning.

Dimensions, design, and habitability

Measuring 4 meters long, the CUPRA Raval is at the heart of the versatile city car segment. It features an angular and expressive design, true to CUPRA’s DNA, with a distinctive light signature and a compact silhouette.

Despite its size, the model promises optimized habitability, with an interior space suited for daily use and a trunk volume consistent with its segment. The goal is to combine agility in the city and versatility on the road.

Motorizations, autonomy, and charging

The CUPRA Raval offers several power levels, up to 226 hp for the most powerful VZ version. The range reaches nearly 450 km (WLTP cycle), thanks to battery options of 37 and 52 kWh.

The 52 kWh battery, equipping the Endurance and VZ versions, allows for charging from 10 to 80% in 24 minutes on a fast DC charger. Meanwhile, the 37 kWh battery of the Plus version achieves the same charging level in 23 minutes.

A strategic electric city car for CUPRA

Starting at €25,995, including subsidies, the CUPRA Raval positions itself among the most competitive electric city cars in the European market. It will directly compete with future urban models from Volkswagen and Skoda, also based on the MEB platform.

With this model, CUPRA aims to democratize electric mobility without compromising its sporty image, in a segment set to become central in the coming years.
