Free Highways: Everyone in Le Mans for the MotoGP!

On the occasion of the Michelin Grand Prix of France MotoGP, Vinci Autoroutes and ALIS are playing fairy godmothers for motorcyclists heading to Le Mans.

Every year, the French MotoGP Grand Prix transforms Le Mans into a motorcycle hub, and 2025 is no exception. Once again, Vinci Autoroutes and ALIS, in collaboration with FFMC, demonstrate a brilliant initiative: offering free access to motorcyclists on several strategic routes. A measure that combines safety, convenience, and friendliness, while encouraging participation in this grand mechanical celebration.

A safer… and free! highway

From Friday, May 9 at 10 a.m. to Monday, May 12 at 10 a.m., motorcyclists will be able to travel for free on key sections of the Cofiroute, ASF, and ALIS networks, including:

• A11: from Saint-Arnoult to Le Mans, from Angers to Le Mans, and from Angers to Nantes
• A81: from Le Mans to La Gravelle
• A85: from Angers to Restigné
• A28: from Saint-Christophe-sur-le-Nais to Le Mans, and from Alençon to Le Mans
• A28 (ALIS): from Rouen to Alençon

Encouraging motorcyclists to favor the highway, which is five times safer than regular roads, this initiative stands out as a cost-effective prevention model. Thanks to the free sections of highway, the event promises to be smooth, safe, and memorable!

Motards Calmos Rest Stops: the well-deserved break

Because a successful trip also involves moments of relaxation, « Motards Calmos » rest stops will be there to welcome riders. Coffee breaks, food, hydration, and safety advice: everything is planned at well-distributed areas like Bosrobert (A28) or Saint-Arnoult (A10).

With additional rest stops to combat fatigue, this operation makes you want to put on your helmet and join the party in Le Mans. Once again, event partners prove that riding can combine safety and pleasure. Get on your bikes!
